FAQ

What are the wristbands made out of?
The One With Them wristbands are made from silicone (not rubber). They also use this form of silicone to make cell phone covers, iPad covers and kitchen products such as spatulas, and ice cube trays.  This silicone is in compliance with export requirements from the FDA.

Where are the wristbands manufactured?
A trusted partner with Open Doors acquired a human rights friendly manufacturer in China to cast and produce your wristbands.

Why should I order a wristband?
One With Them wristbands serve as a daily reminder to pray for those who share our faith in Christ, but don’t share our freedom. They’re also a great way to start conversations with others about the persecuted Church.

What should I tell people about why I’m wearing barbwire?
You can say, “I wear this wristband in solidarity with my brothers and sisters in Christ who share my faith but not my freedom.”

How long should I wear the wristband?
Wear them as long as you are willing to stand up and to pray for persecuted Christians. We’re asking everyone to wear them at least until November 11, International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.  But don’t stop there. Wear them as a reminder to get others to pray on that important date for all persecuted Christians around the world.

I don’t live in the United States; can I still order a wristband?
Open Doors USA is unable to ship internationally at this time due to different international shipping rules, regulations, taxes and laws. However, other Open Doors bases are selling wristbands. Open Doors bases in these countries will also be selling order wristbands: Canada, Norway, South Africa, Sweden, and the United Kingdom (links coming soon).

Do wristbands come in other colors or sizes?
They come in one color (black) and in two sizes:

  • Regular       20 centimeters (7.8 inches)
  • Large           22 centimeters (8.6 inches)

The wristband I ordered last year was too big. Which size should I order this year?
The 2011 wristbands were all sized at 22 cm, so we recommend you order the Regular size which is 20 cm.

Why can’t I order just one wristband?
The reason we are sending you multiple wristbands is because they were designed and packaged to help you spread the word about persecuted Christians.

Are wristbands safe around small children?
Do not allow children under three years old unattended near a wristband. The silicone is not harmful, but because a child can easily put it in their mouths it can be a choking hazard.

I’m a United States citizen but currently living outside of the United States. How can I order wristbands?
